B) Construction Management:

Our Construction Management Division was established a short time after the firm's registration. The division was to supervise all contractor’s work and activities for construction projects.

The ZFP Construction Division gained an outstanding reputation for the quality of its work and for the experience of its engineers. The detailed supervision by ZFP site engineers ensures buildings are constructed to the highest standards on-time, within the budget and to the required quality. This is done by day-to-day supervision of all contractors and subcontractors’ activities on a project, ensuring various tests and inspections conducted, including approval of all stages of work and final material selections.

The team is typically involved in tender evaluation in the pre-construction phase, in contract assignment or the recommendation of contractors or sub-contractors. It oversees project scheduling, cost monitoring, quality control and strict adherence by all contractors to the drawings and specifications. It also arranges for full coordination between the activities of all contractors and the approval of payment certificates.

As Construction Manager, ZFP is typically responsible for the following tasks:

Estimate and negotiate project costs

Formulate the construction budget

Manage the construction scheduling and work timetables

Manage work orders

Determine which project management methods and strategies are appropriate for the project

Communicate with the project owner and stakeholders, i.e. budget, progress, etc.
